Marketing & Communications Specialist/Content Marketer

As Marketing and Communication Specialist within a fast growing international company you are responsible for the conception and development of targeted communication via PR, Social media, web and print. Together with your colleagues you realize the marketing and communication strategy.

What you will be doing?

You contribute to achieving Verder's growth objectives by using your knowledge, experience and creativity to write catchy and targeted content that is journalistically sound. You are responsible for initiating and supervising campaigns. You know how to catch and hold our clients' attention and how to inform them perfectly with good text and visuals. You are curious, eager to learn and know how to bring tough, technical language to life and place it in a larger context. In doing so, you will help our international organization to continue to grow.

Your duties include:

• Creating and implementing a content strategy for effective B2B communications.
• Thinking along in creative solutions in brand and communication development.
• To write to the point texts for- and self-design brochures, PR messages and campaigns including blogs, White papers and success stories among others. The content should not only be recruiting but also journalistically engaging, so affinity and interest in technology is a plus.
• Creating content for advertisements, websites, marketing campaigns, case studies and application stories and being able to place a catchy Visual with them.
• Rake email marketing (both content and process).
• Creating sales support materials such as data sheets, price lists and manuals.

Who are you?

• You have a completed HBO education, preferably in the field of marketing and/or communication or journalism.
• You have extensive experience writing marketing texts.
• If you have experience with simple DTP work it’s an advantage.
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, orally as well as in writing.
