M&A Analyst

32-40 hours - Vleuten (Utrecht)


Are you ready for the next step in your M&A career? To support our growth strategy, we are looking for an M&A Analyst to assist in finding and acquiring strategically interesting companies.


What will you do?

As an M&A Analyst you will understand financial figures, market dynamics and participate in all phases of merger and acquisition projects. In addition, you will perform a variety of activities within the entire M&A process. You will always work as part of a broader team.


What will you do as an M&A Analyst:

  • You will be part of our M&A team and report to the M&A Director.
  • You coordinate acquisitions globally and actively engage with potential targets.
  • You track and document acquisition targets and progress, as well as M&A activities within our industry.
  • You research and analyze potential acquisitions.
  • You conduct thorough analyses of the seller's numbers, operations, competition and facilities.
  • You perform market analysis of geographic target areas.
  • You create financial and forecasting models.
  • You present reports to inform and convince our management, acquisition targets, board of directors and divisions.
  • You coordinate the due diligence process.
  • You organize transaction files and perform all other administrative tasks in support of transactions.

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • You have at least two years of experience in M&A, Transaction Service, Audit, Corporate Finance or Consulting at reputable companies.
  • You have a completed Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • You are analytical, precise, structured and have an eye for detail.
  • You are an excellent presenter and motivator and you are open to self-reflection.
  • It is an advantage if you have an interest and/or affinity with technology.
  • You have excellent knowledge of the English language and are willing to learn Dutch.
  • You master Excel and other Microsoft Office applications like a professional.
