Functional Application Administrator

32-40 hours Utrecht (Vleuten)

As Functional Application Administrator you will be working with two core applications namely Dynamics 365 F&O and CE. With the management of both applications you fill your working days. Your workweek is very dynamic and will never be the same. Together with the key users, the end users and your colleagues from IT you make sure that both core applications and the associated peripheral applications run as well as possible. You may have several years of experience as an application manager, but have you just finished your college education and completed one or more interesting internships in the IT field, or have you just completed a traineeship and are looking for the next step? Are you eager to learn and do you like to learn new processes and systems? Then we are looking for you!

What will you be doing as Functional Application Administrator?

You are our rock in the surf when it comes to all questions/issues/improvement opportunities/open tickets etc. that are linked to Dynamics 365 F&O and CE. Whether it's the rollout of the package or a data issue with a colleague, customer or supplier; you know how to handle things. You proactively and effectively assist users in using the applications and answer their questions. In addition, you ensure that the IT Manuals are always up-to-date. You plan the changes and release updates and execute them independently using Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle services. You take care of the user management and the corresponding (security) roles and you are also responsible for updating the product and sales data delivered by our product managers in Dynamics365.

Job requirements

What do you bring to Verder?

  • You have a college degree and preferably a degree in an IT related field.
  • Preferably you have 2-3 years of work experience as a Functional Application Administrator, Project Support or System Analyst, but that is not a hard requirement, because we also like ambitious starters.
  • If you already have knowledge of / have worked with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft AX then that is of course a big plus.
  • Microsoft Excel holds no secrets for you.
  • You speak and write good English and have at least basic level Dutch or are willing to learn it.
  • You are communicatively strong, proactive and solution oriented.
